Delphi Day Tour
The Delphi Tour offers an enriching 8-hour journey through ancient history and picturesque landscapes. Begin with a visit to the Temple of Apollo, where the Oracle once delivered prophecies. Explore the ancient Theater of Delphi, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, travel to the charming mountain town of Arachova, known for its traditional architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Finally, visit the Monastery of Saint Luke, a UNESCO World Heritage site with remarkable Byzantine architecture and stunning views. This tour blends ancient ruins, scenic beauty, and cultural heritage, making for an unforgettable Greek adventure.

The temple was believed to be the home of the god Apollo and the site of his oracle, holding a significant place within the sanctuary. As the fame of the Delphi oracle spread across the ancient world, the temple's design needed to reflect its global magnificence and splendor. According to legend, the first temple of Apollo in the area was constructed from laurel branches, followed by a second made of beeswax and feathers.

The Delphi Theater is situated within the sanctuary of Apollo in ancient Delphi, with a seating capacity of 5,000 spectators. In antiquity, it was the venue for vocal and instrumental music competitions, which were part of the Pythian Games and various other religious festivals and rituals.

Arachova, a picturesque mountain village located at the foot of Mount Parnassos in Viotia, Southern Greece, is renowned as the country's top winter destination. Attracting ski enthusiasts, celebrities, and newcomers alike, Arachova offers a magical retreat into a snowy wonderland, complete with modern tourist facilities. With its cutting-edge ski resort, close proximity to Athens, and breathtaking mountain views, Arachova is the perfect choice for those looking for a cosmopolitan winter getaway.

Departing from Arachova, we will head to the slopes of Mount Helikon to explore the Monastery of St. Luke, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant examples of Middle Byzantine art and architecture.
